Overview
Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometre (ASTER) is a Japanese built camera on board NASA's Terra satellite launched in December 1999.

ASTER provides regional multispectral data available from a worldwide archive of satellite scenes. Multispectral scenes are manipulated by remote sensing specialists using specialized software.
